The Early Days - Sarah Coventry Inc.

Sarah Coventry Inc. was a sister company of Emmons

Jewelers, Inc. Both companies were founded in 1949

by Charles H. Stuart in Newark, New York. Both the

Sarah Coventry and Emmons Jewelry Company sold

their jewelry through home jewelry parties.

Pictured above are earlier examples of the packaging

The beauty of plastics show through on this

lovely painted daffodil and snowdrop motif

bracelet. It is hand painted, but probably

a whimsical item that would be purchased

at a Five and Dime store.

from the 1950's - 1960's. Known for their
well made beautiful jewelry creations.
This 3 strand bracelet is made from art
glass beads and cut crystal beads.
The earrings that match the bracelet
